Leaking Pipe Repair in Escondido

Repair made by shutting off water service to mobile home park. Drain down park water main through fire hydrant. Chipped away concrete encasing pvc piping. Cut out and removed upstream riser to sub meter and existing leaking transition fitting. Installed one new 3/4” schedule 80 pvc ball valve along with new 3/4” schedule 80 pvc pipes and fittings. Installed new 3/4” copper riser with 3/4” full port ball and 3/4” copper fittings. Allowed pvc cement to cure. Tested by restoring water service to mobile home park. Bled air out of piping through hydrant and bibs at clubhouse. Tested good, no leaks on repairs. Complete clean up of work area.
