Recirculating Pump Replacement in Oceanside

Arrived on site and began investigation of why hot water takes a long time to get to units. Accessed water heater room in underground parking garage and found both existing 100 gallon water heaters are operational but the recirculating pump is broken. Pump is emitting grinding sound and pump motor casing is extremely hotter than set temperature on the water heaters. Notified customer of findings and work was authorized via phone to replace broken pump. Acquired new recirculating pump. Repair made by removing existing broken recirculating pump and installed one new recirculating pump. Reinstalled existing electrical cord to new pump. Tested new recirculating pump for leaks and proper function. Tested good, no leaks. Recirculating pump operational at this time. Complete clean up of work area.
